The stale air keeps my thoughts in place As I'm treading through the same old space And the light through the trees Is getting to me I could use some sleep When the narratives are spoken And every word is deafening The phrases that they're smokin Tend to burn out real quick Lately I've spent time tryna concentrate On some things to which I can't really relate It's denser than lead Compressed in my head I'm going to bed And when I wake up I am content Disoriented transiently And I'll attempt to be attentive Just preparing to hear, to hear To hear the narratives all spoken Where every word is deafening And the phrases that they're smokin Now have burned out

I'm the most introverted person that I know And I'm the least interesting of anyone I know Spending free time thinkin about all these mistakes And it's the ones I think would to most seem mundane They say be who you wanna be, I'm always hearing it But they also say to be yourself, and for me these contradict
